Chamunda Hardware demonstrates how movement can be expressed through metal, transforming a commercial building into a memorable architectural statement.

Designed and executed by Axes in Excess in collaboration with Architect Mr. Bhavesh of Aecon, Mumbai, this facade project in Jaipur is centered around a custom-developed Coin Matrix facade system shaped by a fluid wave-inspired geometry.

Rather than presenting a static surface, the facade is designed to create a continuous sense of motion. Flowing curves move across the elevation, generating a dynamic visual rhythm that changes as the building is viewed from different angles. The result is a facade that feels alive—bold, contemporary, and instantly recognizable.

The carefully engineered wave formation is complemented by a rhythmic perforation pattern that enhances the interaction between light, shadow, and depth. Throughout the day, shifting natural light reveals new layers of texture and dimension, giving the facade a constantly evolving visual character.

Every element of the system was developed with a focus on precision engineering and fabrication accuracy. The geometry was refined to ensure smooth transitions, structural integrity, and efficient installation while preserving the original design intent.

Beyond aesthetics, the facade reflects a thoughtful integration of parametric design principles, digital fabrication, and modern metal facade engineering. The combination of flowing forms and perforated surfaces creates a balance between architectural expression and technical performance.

Located in Jaipur, Chamunda Hardware stands as an example of how innovative metal facade systems can redefine commercial architecture. It is a project where design, engineering, and craftsmanship come together to create a distinctive identity—one that leaves a lasting impression long before a visitor steps inside.
