For the Keshav Goyal Residence in Gurugram, Haryana, Axes in Excess developed a contemporary metal facade that brings together two distinct aluminium systems—our Curvaceous Façade Vertical and Fluted 20-15—to create a facade that feels both sculptural and refined.

The defining element of the residence is the Curvaceous Façade Vertical, a parametric fin system that transforms the front elevation into a flowing architectural surface. The vertical aluminium fins are individually shaped to create a continuous wave-like movement across the facade, forming a floating parametric screen that appears to rise and fall with the architecture.

Rather than treating the facade as a flat surface, the design introduces depth. Each curved fin contributes to the overall rhythm, creating changing shadows and highlights as daylight moves across the elevation. The result is a dynamic modern house facade that changes character throughout the day.

Manufactured in aluminium and finished with a durable powder coating, the parametric screen combines sculptural expression with the practical advantages of a lightweight architectural facade system. The vertical arrangement also gives the elevation a strong sense of height and continuity. The Curvaceous Façade Vertical system is specifically developed around varying curve profiles arranged within a vertical parametric screen.

Complementing this expressive front facade is the Fluted 20-15 system, introduced across the side facade walls and the main entrance gate. Here, the design language becomes more linear and controlled.

The fine vertical fluting creates a precise architectural rhythm, while the aluminium surface brings warmth to the composition. It gives the residence the visual character of timber while retaining the strength and versatility of aluminium. The Fluted 20-15 system is designed for both interior and exterior applications and is available in premium wood-texture powder-coated finishes.

The contrast between the two systems is what gives the residence its identity.

Together, they establish a layered facade language where sculptural geometry meets linear precision. The result is a contemporary residential elevation that feels sophisticated without becoming excessive.
